The weather is warming up and I feel that this top is too warm. It will make the cut to our move to Kuala Lumpur though as we plan to visit cooler parts of Asia such as Japan and Korea during our time there and it is a great top for spring and autumnal weather either on its own or layered over long sleeved tops. Here are my #bestnine2021 in a year where we moved 2000 km from Beijing to Guangzhou, in a year where I didn't really do much sewing but my account made it past 1000 followers. Thank you and Happy New Year! . Living in China during Covid is a vastly different experience to my friends and family living in England, who we haven't seen since August 2019, which makes me feel even more disconnected in this global pandemic. We could leave, but our children would have difficulty returning due to their visas and then there is the minimum 21 days quarantine in government facilities. Internal travel is either restricted or strongly discouraged, but I did manage to see where the Great Wall starts and where it ends on the sea as well as the Rainbow Mountains and experience a desert for the first time. Back to sewing! My 2 patchwork @merchantandmills Fielder Dresses were popular as was my only worn once @needleandcloth dropped sleeved dress that just didn't work with the stiff cotton Ankara farbic. What I wore to work today. Sorry for the poor quality photograph but it is dark here and I didn't have chance to take one during the day. I took your advice and shortened it and I think I took it in slightly, but I'm still not sure about this dress on me as I don't think it is particularly flattering.
