The fit turned out great, I probably lengthened the front straps too much, but that is better than being too short 😜? None of the button holes on my sewing machine were quite wide enough so I did a hacky “bound-buttonhole-welted-pocket type thing “ I’m pretty stoked with how well it worked out. I’ve been wanting to make the pugs jackets for a long time. There are basically no RTW jackets that fit their thick, short little bodies. @patternscout just released the #psdogcoat and I thought it’d be perfect. It’s simple construction would make it really easy for me to make easy adjustments. I started with size small for both and then made the following mods: Teddy: reduced length 1”, increased stomach strap 4”, increased neck strap 3” Penny: reduced length 3”, increased stomach strap 2”, increased neck 3” Swipe to see my lovely models in their fitting. #sewingwithpugs #sewing #sewingdogclothes #sewingfordogs
