Last week I told Marty I thought we’d never get covid, so I’ll give you one guess what happened on Thursday. Womp-womp. But after two days of exhaustion and muscle aches and some sniffles, I’m feeling much better. The kids had just had their second shot/booster so they’ve been mostly unaffected. I’m finally up to posting this tank I made for Marty last week. This is the @threadtheorydesigns #arrowsmithundershirt in Robert Kaufmann jersey that he picked out @stashfabricvt. Whereas I still have to try not be too anxious about getting my memades dirty, the husband is completely the opposite. He claims that if he wears the items I made him as workwear, I should take it as a compliment saying he simply cannot work in clothes that are not comfortable 🤷‍♀️ So here he is, chopping and moving firewood in the new #arrowsmithundershirt I just made him and sporting his farmer's tan 😆 Pattern is by @threadtheorydesigns . I made a size 4 and shortened it by 5,5cm although he really isn't a short fellow. I also ended up taking off 10cm of both the armhole and the neck bands because they came out super wavy. Fabric is a rib knit (same as the one I used for my Blommatank) from @budgetstoffen

Day 7 of #memademay // husband finally got his own shirt! 🍳 i made him the #arrowsmithundershirt because it’s the exact same cut as a RTW tank top he loves, and he says this one fits perfectly. We’re still working on posing over here 💀 Tank tops are stupid easy to put together, but I have to say the instructions on this pattern kind of suck so use a different bias binding tutorial if you’re not familiar with the method. Overall very fast and enjoyable and will be making him more for the summer! Great opportunity to wear all my new summer attire in the middle of winter! Maybe finally worked the kinks out of this tank top? Turns out you can’t just make make a men’s tank top pattern shorter, but I moved the straps on the #arrowsmithundershirt closer together and shortened their length and it sort of works. Anyway, it looks cute!

We went for a walk yesterday at the park and they happened to be wearing matching tanks for once so i gotta take a photo of that. I made a size 4 and shortened it by 5,5cm although he really isn't a short fellow. I also ended up taking off 10cm of both the armhole and the neck bands because they came out super wavy. Fabric is a rib knit (same as the one I used for my Blommatank) from @budgetstoffen

But after two days of exhaustion and muscle aches and some sniffles, I’m feeling much better. The kids had just had their second shot/booster so they’ve been mostly unaffected.
