I’ve always liked the mermaid colors of this @tulapink fabric but completely forgot I had it in my stash until I saw the tester call from @bebekinspatterns for the #bebekinsknotty dress that has been released this week (and is on sale on their website!)

In fact, my daughter’s 7th birthday is coming up next month, and mermaids was one of the themes we have been discussing for it.

Mid-April in Vancouver is not usually warm enough to run around in sundresses, and because of the distance we all need to keep from each other right now, we don’t know yet how we will be celebrating her birthday this year.

If we end up with a small family celebration at home, she can certainly wear this dress, which she loves by the way, despite the expression in her face!

All we need to do now is choose some mermaidy accessories!
