I finally used some of my birthday vintage finish linen from @wearethefabricstore to make Mia this top! Not quite what I had intended with it, but I still have a few metres of it so I'll definitely be using that for me. This is the Isla top by @bebekinspatterns and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a new favourite this coming Summer. Mia had claimed the vintage floral fabric for herself, and originally I had intended to use that for the main body of the top, but no matter how much pattern Tetris I tried, I just couldn't fit it. I think it makes a great statement ruffle though, especially all the way up and around the back. I found the wooden buttons at a local op shop and thank you for helping me pick these over the white ones!
