I've been loving button-front designs lately. They allow this lady of mine to be more independent getting dressed and undressed, and I am all up for it 🙌🏻.

The #bebekinspenny dress with a button-up front is such a satisfying little sewing project that its modification into a top was born quite organically in my head. I couldn't resist the temptation and simply had to bring it to life. And all I did was make the skirt extra-short.

Although I am quite happy with the way it turned out, if I decide to make another similar top using this pattern, I'll probably lengthen the bodice an inch or so and see what happens. Quite possibly, I'll revert to the original length.
