My second ever smocking project - my first took so long she grew out of the dress! I’m happy this one only took me a week to do in the evenings. The dress pattern is @bebekinspatterns #bebekinsluna. I smocked a panel the same length at the dress front and cut the pattern after it was all done taking into account that it had already been gathered. I am a self taught so there’s lots of wonky stitches, but I am overall really happy with my attempt! The fabric is a liberty cotton I got on sale recently from @darncheapfabrics.
