This #anouktunic from @victorypatterns and I are beefing. I used a beautiful royal blue silk chiffon from some fabric store in NYC that was going out of business, and #telio viscose twill for the yoke. There is a LOT going on in this pattern - pin tucks, gathers, buttons, pieced placket - and after way over-fitting the yoke, I ended up replacing the buttons and placket with one solid piece because it looked weird with the cutout. All in all it took almost 3 months, at least the last 3 weeks of which I just wanted to be done so I could move on to the next thing.
Dear @workroomsocial whenever we are able to do things again, and perhaps for #cwswardrobeweek can you please teach me how to fit a blouse and sew with silk? Because I've read a lot of tutorials on both, but it's not the same as seeing it in person.
