In my continuing efforts to document previous makes, please see my first iteration of the iconic Cris Wood Sews envelope dress. This one I made as a wearable toile and because I didn't have enough of either the orange solid or the print I thought a colourblock would look good. And I was right! The only mods I made were to make it colourblocked, and I followed the shoulder adjustment tutorial to get that nice v at the back. I realised afterwards because of the colourblocking I could have instead put the head opening in between the front and back from the start but oh well. Next time.
