It has been an unseasonably warm and sunny fall so far in Atlantic Canada, but the weather is starting to shift to the usual wet, windy and cold we expect this time of year. I bought this softshell over two years ago with plans to make something like this. My big kid recently discovered the dino print and was asking me for a shirt. He was equally (if not more) thrilled with the idea of rain pants, and insisted they be overalls. The little one needs the easy on/off of pants right now, and she is very excited about the big pockets and purple snaps. I just had enough of the two prints for the pants, dashing my original plan of matching hats. I was able to make them hats to match each other, which they’re pretty thrilled with. Patterns are all @twigandtale. Rainhaven Overalls, Rainhaven Pants and Sou’Wester Hat.
