Another Scenic Top - this time made in a beautiful raw silk I've had in my stash for a while - absolutely love this color 💙. I originally had a different plan for this fabric, so now I have about 60cm leftover. I'm trying to decide what to do with it - maybe a pair of shorts? #scenictop version 2. Last month when I made @twigandtale #ttscenictop I was, frankly, disappointed with my make. Some makes feel good with the more you wear it, some- the opposite. I felt very disheartened with my mistakes, primarily the fit in the upper shoulder and bust area and didn’t know how I could correct it. Nothing wrong with the pattern, it’s an excellent one. I felt I just couldn’t figure out how to fix the aforementioned areas. My solution became step away from IG for a bit, go back to the analog fitting guides I have, consult a few sewing friends and then return to the drawing board. This is the second version of that top. I decided that the correct fit for me through the shoulders is how I want to go about it. So I moved back to size “C” (from an earlier “d” ) on the top graded out to an “e” at the hips. Other mods include: fsa, swayback (not very effective as you can see), round back, bicep adjustment and a slight increase in width at the bust. The fit in this one is so much better! It still looks a bit snug on the bust but I think doublegauze tends to grow so it’s going to be fine. Other changes include: a back seam (since I only had 1 yard of this beautiful #naniiro double gauze) and some @alabamachanin inspired running stitch embroidery on the back. It’s hard to see it and I will try to post photos of it soon, but I love it and am so glad I did it. I think if it as understated and elegant :-) And while the theme of ##ttstorytellers this month is seasons, I think of this as my all season top. This fabric survived 2 moves and I finally sewed something with it!! 💪 It was fabric I bought when I was still very early in my garment sewing 'career' and many ideas have washed over it but none really stuck. Recently, I had an opportunity to be on the sample making team for Twig & Tale's latest release, the sleeve extension pack for their Scenic and Vista tops. This is my first time sewing in collaboration with Twig & Tale in any way but if you've been following me, you know that I've been a loyal customer of theirs since I started sewing clothes. Their Breeze Shirt and Driftwood Blouse patterns are major TNT patterns for me, so an opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of one of their patterns and to sew something with it was something I couldn't say no to! These different sleeves in this pattern add-on package put together with the base blouse of your choice allow you to create 48 different blouse styles! Their pattern instructions include tons of info on how to select the right size for you and how to grade between sizes, which I do a lot. They also include upcycling ideas and the most detailed and thoughtful of instructions, which is helpful to newbies and experienced sewists alike. Their instructions for sewing the bias neckline here resulted in the best bias neckline I've ever done! The patterns are on sale right now, so if you're considering taking the dive, now is a good time! If I sound like a commercial, I don't really care, as I'll support a small business doing truly good things any day. Recently I've been next level busy and just putting one foot in front of the other, but I am taking the time to be grateful for all wonderful things in my life. Top of that list is always my kids and how much time we get to spend together as a home education family. I have my moments 🥴 but I wouldn't want it any other way. Another thing that brings me joy is singing with the local choir Matakantata. Collective singing is healing, challenging, satisfying and energizing. If you're local to me, our show Driving Home For Christmas will be on in the Warkworth town hall this Sunday at 4pm. It's a singing road trip from one end of ngā motu to the other with each song relating to a location. My daughter is in this picture because she's the "driver" showing the audience our route on a large map, plus she jumped at the chance to sing with us for one of our numbers in reo Māori. For this show I made myself a #ScenicTop by @twigandtale out of double gauze from @forfabricsake. The scenic top has proved to be a staple for me, this is the fourth or maybe fifth that I've made but I doubt anyone would notice that I've used the same pattern each time. I had already done a full bust adjustment so I knew the fit would be excellent and I added bishop sleeves just for fun. For that I used guidance from a 1980s Encyclopedia of Dressmaking which I've had for at least 15 years and never used so that was hoarding win 🤣. I finally finished a new blouse! This is the Scenic Top by @twigandtale with the flounce sleeve from the Sprig sleeve add-on and a hand embroidered motif from the Garden Posy embroidery pack! I've been wanting to experiment with a flounce sleeve for a while now and I think they are so fun and comfortable. They will be wonderfully breezy in the hot weather. It's holy week in my part of the world, but the whistling wind and relentless rain has kept us mostly inside. I had big plans for spring break and Easter, but between various colds and the current weather I welcome the respite before my family's main birthday season is upon us. My daughter N turns seven next month and this new age feels like another milestone. I always say that, but each year seems bigger than the last somehow. When she was a toddler, seven was her idea of a big kid and now we're here. She's my big girl! This year N's requested a new doll and a long skirt with buttons like one I have. I'm still working on the doll, but I did manage to make her an early birthday outfit. She changes clothes countless times a day just like I did when I was her age, and it feels special to watch her reach for something I made with my hands again and again. Hopefully this is the year she learns how to fold. This is the @twigandtale #Meadowskirt in a pale pink cotton viscose from @gingertea.es . I made the gathered front in a size 5, graded to a 7 in length, and added a faux button placket from the instructions on their blog. I held my breath with the back construction, but T+T puts so much care and attention into their patterns that I always feel confident that I'll love the result when I'm through. My latest project as the @twigandtale Storytellers Community wraps up for the year, was the Scenic Top with Cuff Sleeve Add-on. I tried to sew one earlier this year but had quite a bit of trouble trying to sew the neck binding MY way rather than following instructions...lesson learned! This time around, I carefully followed their (comprehensive) steps and discovered a new and effective way to sew neck binding. I do love that sewing is like figuring out 3-dimensional jigsaw puzzles and putting it all together! This was squeezed out of a remnant of beautiful @sanskruti_store embroidered fabric that I'd had for ages, and the photos are taken in front of my favourite rose bush, which blooms in such a spectacular, magical way at this time of year, as though heralding summer. It's -13C today, so perfect for photographing and sharing a linen dress 🙈. I really enjoy the construction of this pattern, it has such a crisp, clean finish. 2. #scenictop by @twigandtale. Short sleeve & straight hem. The perfect basic linen t-shirt pattern, easy to sew and a great wardrobe staple. 3. #zwshirt based on the pattern by @birgittahelmersson from the book 'zero waste patterns'. Included a photo of the back of this one too, since it makes me feel magical ✨ One of my favourite things about sewing with these fabrics is figuring out the pattern layout. Matching the embroidery, avoiding stains and working with a limited amount of material makes it a fun puzzle to solve. Just please don't tell me I've ruined the table cloths by cutting them up - they'll get much more use this way!

Amazing fabric from The Fabric Store coupled with two tried and tested patterns; Twig and Tale’s Scenic Top paired with True Bias Dani Pants. Minor changes to the top. Cropped the length and tapered the sides slightly. I also took about 1/2” out of the centre front. I hacked the pants pattern to make it a flat front by adding in a small pleat to take out the extra bulk. Next time I will shorted the waistband a bit for and increase the pleat size. I left the back with an elastic waist, but added a couple of darts to take out some of the bulk. I also made them wide leg rather than tapered. On the last day of the month, I present to you my @twigandtale Vista Top made from a precious fabric that had been sitting in my stash for the last 5 years. The #preciousfabric24 challenge hosted by @tomkatstitcherycarmel was just what I needed to finally turn this beautiful silk viscose into something wearable. I love it! Especially those flouncy sleeves. They're part of a sleeve add-on you can get that works both for the #ttvistatop and for the #ttscenictop. I was afraid I could mess up the V-Neck because the fabric is so slippery, but I'm happy to report that there are no puckers at all. I could do with a few more centimetres in lenght, but that was all the fabric I had. 150 years of Liberty's- so enjoyed seeing the exhibition. My sewing world has been tied to this institution for a third of that time so I had to wear a new me made outfit for the visit. I made the Twig and Tale Scenic and Fernways from a drapery viscose/ linen fabric. The fabric behind this outfit is probably over 58 years old but it’s still in amazing shape. It came from a thrifted twin bed sheet — it was much thicker and higher quality than most bedsheets I see, with “Wabasso Cotton Co” stamped on the hem. I scooped it up thinking it was a great medium weight for a skirt. A quick Google search shows the Wabasso Cotton Co was established in Trois-Rivières, Quebec in 1907 and changed its name to Wabasso Limited in 1967, meaning this fabric is likely older than that. I used it to make the new Lorien Skirt from @twigandtale and even had enough for a matching Scenic Top. I took part in the Sew and Show for the skirt, meaning I received the pattern in exchange for sharing my honest experience. I love the ties and faux shirring around the waistband on this one, as well as the four panels that make it super full. The Scenic Top is possibly my most-made pattern. It’s such a great, simple woven tee. Squeezing in a last #storyteller project before December. I was really exited about last months theme “texture” right back when we began our storyteller year and I started planning this. I knew I wanted to try out the #ttscenictop and add a running stitch to add that texture. I had ideas of vertical lines from the neckline and shoulders until I made the top in this lovely dusty pink linen that has been in my stack for quite some time. I completely changed direction and went with this idea instead 🌿 As always I go ahead and stitch to see where it may take me. I made two leaves with the veins left unstitched , was not a big fan so had to do some serious unpicking. First off my idea was to add leaves coming down off the opposite shoulder too but at present this will do. I like it. The scenic top is just what I was hoping it would be, very comfortable to wear, beautiful finish and a joy to sew. I added the cuffed sleeves from the spring sleeve add on pack. My favourite part is trying the finished garment on, it fits like a dream and now a blank canvas for me to adorn and make my own. Ohhh the possibilities 🪡 This pattern was kindly gifted to me by @twigandtale for being a part of the storytellers this year. Another perseverance story here… I had a clear image of what I wanted to do with this gorgeous Jennifer Bouron cotton lawn; a long sleeve TT Scenic top with full sleeves similar to the TT Driftwood blouse. But the finished product looked really unbalanced and just a bit yuk due to the lack of drape in the fabric. So after much mucking around I settled on short, cuffed sleeves and a cropped length. Hanging on to the warm days as much as we can, but I think these will work pretty well as layering pieces for autumn days 🍃🍂 I initially planned a plain shirt and shorts for outdoor and climbing days (I know... white?! But I couldn't resist 😜). And then I remembered the marvellous Scout pants that @bomblesandmookin made almost a year ago now - with EGG-pockets 🥚🥚🥚 More specifically the box pockets from the Fishing Vest add-ons (such a clever mix-and-match, Lorna!)... These pockets are indeed a lot of fun to make with colourful scraps! The bird patch/embroidery motif came from @mama_puffin who recently screen-printed her very own Coot fabric to make a Meadow skirt for her little one. Much laugh was had on coot-y puns, and she even shared her coot template so we can make our own 😍 (thank you, Wietske!) I think it just looks so 'coot' here and B is already asking for some baby coots 😆😂 This sew turned out to be such a enjoyable one... and certainly the best fun in my recent sewing year has come from getting to know some wonderful sewists and makers from all over the world (thanks to @twigandtale ) 😊🌿✨ So looking forward to sewing with everyone again - you all inspire me!! I am so grateful to be part of the @twigandtale Storytellers' community again this year, starting with the March theme of 'Inspiration'. As it’s the last day of April, it’s also the last day of the storytellers theme ‘Details’. Every little choice you make when making a garment is a detail, and each choice can change the looks of the feel of a garment. Even when you use the same pattern! I chose to go for a very simple and basic pattern, the Scenic top. It’s a very good and scent basic that belongs in each wardrobe. But it can be so much more! One of the tops I made is the basic Scenic pattern with a simple 3/4 sleeve. I opted for a very light creme-coloured cotton with embroidery-like details. I used flat felled seams which I flat felled by hand to have a minimal amount of visible stitching. I chose a lovely lace ribbon to finish the sleeves. The second scenic top is made out of a lovely double gauze with stripes, which immediately makes it feel completely different. I wanted a more airy sleeve, so I chose to make the pleated sleeves from the sprig add on pack. To show the difference in look and feel between both options of course I needed a new Wildflower pinafore and of course I added some options I didn’t do before. I added tulip pockets from the Tui pocket pack, cut the straps end in a point and added a little tulip flower embroidery on one of the straps. Curious about the outfits? Check out my next posts! Well, it's been a most horrendous start to the Lunar New Year so far 😆 Two weeks of heatwave, and then the little one (and I) got hit with a nasty bug which brought a lot of tears and fitful nights 🤧🤕 Thankfully I think we are past the worst of this malady, but we will have to get through another heatwave with a top forecast of 44C over the weekend 🥵 So I'm here to make the most out of the little sewing joys 🙂 A simple but most comfortable set of top and shorts made with a fabric gifted by a lovely neighbour from their travels 💙 I missed the opportunity for a photo but I was pleased to make a very cute #TTBarefootDress out of the same fabric for her 4yo too 💕 The top is the Scenic top from @twigandtale and the shorts are new to me - City Gym Shorts, a free pattern (in kids' and adult size) by @purlsoho 🌱 I decided to line the shorts (as the fabric is a lightweight cotton) and in the process realised that I could easily make the shorts reversible! My latest project as the @twigandtale Storytellers Community wraps up for the year, was the Scenic Top with Cuff Sleeve Add-on. I tried to sew one earlier this year but had quite a bit of trouble trying to sew the neck binding MY way rather than following instructions...lesson learned! This time around, I carefully followed their (comprehensive) steps and discovered a new and effective way to sew neck binding. I do love that sewing is like figuring out 3-dimensional jigsaw puzzles and putting it all together! This was squeezed out of a remnant of beautiful @sanskruti_store embroidered fabric that I'd had for ages, and the photos are taken in front of my favourite rose bush, which blooms in such a spectacular, magical way at this time of year, as though heralding summer. Recently I've been next level busy and just putting one foot in front of the other, but I am taking the time to be grateful for all wonderful things in my life. Top of that list is always my kids and how much time we get to spend together as a home education family. I have my moments 🥴 but I wouldn't want it any other way. Another thing that brings me joy is singing with the local choir Matakantata. Collective singing is healing, challenging, satisfying and energizing. If you're local to me, our show Driving Home For Christmas will be on in the Warkworth town hall this Sunday at 4pm. It's a singing road trip from one end of ngā motu to the other with each song relating to a location. My daughter is in this picture because she's the "driver" showing the audience our route on a large map, plus she jumped at the chance to sing with us for one of our numbers in reo Māori. For this show I made myself a #ScenicTop by @twigandtale out of double gauze from @forfabricsake. The scenic top has proved to be a staple for me, this is the fourth or maybe fifth that I've made but I doubt anyone would notice that I've used the same pattern each time. I had already done a full bust adjustment so I knew the fit would be excellent and I added bishop sleeves just for fun. For that I used guidance from a 1980s Encyclopedia of Dressmaking which I've had for at least 15 years and never used so that was hoarding win 🤣. #scenictop version 2. Last month when I made @twigandtale #ttscenictop I was, frankly, disappointed with my make. Some makes feel good with the more you wear it, some- the opposite. I felt very disheartened with my mistakes, primarily the fit in the upper shoulder and bust area and didn’t know how I could correct it. Nothing wrong with the pattern, it’s an excellent one. I felt I just couldn’t figure out how to fix the aforementioned areas. My solution became step away from IG for a bit, go back to the analog fitting guides I have, consult a few sewing friends and then return to the drawing board. This is the second version of that top. I decided that the correct fit for me through the shoulders is how I want to go about it. So I moved back to size “C” (from an earlier “d” ) on the top graded out to an “e” at the hips. Other mods include: fsa, swayback (not very effective as you can see), round back, bicep adjustment and a slight increase in width at the bust. The fit in this one is so much better! It still looks a bit snug on the bust but I think doublegauze tends to grow so it’s going to be fine. Other changes include: a back seam (since I only had 1 yard of this beautiful #naniiro double gauze) and some @alabamachanin inspired running stitch embroidery on the back. It’s hard to see it and I will try to post photos of it soon, but I love it and am so glad I did it. I think if it as understated and elegant :-) And while the theme of ##ttstorytellers this month is seasons, I think of this as my all season top. We have lots of love for batik in my tribe. This one is making another appearance here. Mum chose the fabric and I sewed it up for her birthday. She loves woven tees. Didn’t this turn out nicely 😍. This fabric survived 2 moves and I finally sewed something with it!! 💪 It was fabric I bought when I was still very early in my garment sewing 'career' and many ideas have washed over it but none really stuck. Recently, I had an opportunity to be on the sample making team for Twig & Tale's latest release, the sleeve extension pack for their Scenic and Vista tops. This is my first time sewing in collaboration with Twig & Tale in any way but if you've been following me, you know that I've been a loyal customer of theirs since I started sewing clothes. Their Breeze Shirt and Driftwood Blouse patterns are major TNT patterns for me, so an opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of one of their patterns and to sew something with it was something I couldn't say no to! These different sleeves in this pattern add-on package put together with the base blouse of your choice allow you to create 48 different blouse styles! Their pattern instructions include tons of info on how to select the right size for you and how to grade between sizes, which I do a lot. They also include upcycling ideas and the most detailed and thoughtful of instructions, which is helpful to newbies and experienced sewists alike. Their instructions for sewing the bias neckline here resulted in the best bias neckline I've ever done! The patterns are on sale right now, so if you're considering taking the dive, now is a good time! ✨ Scenic & Fernway ✨ 🇬🇧 I could not choose between colours… so I did not. I started with the orange set, in ramie fabric. I sewed the Scenic Top last year. It’s one of my favourite, if not THE favourite amongst all the top patterns I own. I procrastinated the Fernway Culottes a lot. I cut the fabric last summer and it took me about 9 months to get to sewing. As usual with Twig + Tale, it was a breeze. So I made one more set in charcoal linen, then one more in blue linen. After the first Fernway Culottes, I lengthen them so they would reach my ankles. I love that I can wear them in the same colours, and then it almost looks like a jumpsuit, or I can mix and match. They’ve been worn a lot already and they will be my uniforms this summer. . 🇫🇷 Je n’avais pas envie de choisir, alors je ne l’ai pas fait ! L’été dernier, j’ai cousu un top Scenic, en ramie orange. J’ai coupé le même tissu pour faire la jupe-culotte Fernway et… je l’ai laissé de côté. Pendant neuf mois. J’ai fini par m’y mettre et j’ai bien fait ! Comme souvent avec Twig + Tale, je me suis régalée. J’ai donc fait deux ensembles supplémentaires : le premier en lin gris, le second en bleu canard. Pour ces deux-là, j’ai allongé les jambes pour atteindre les chevilles, une longueur que je préfère. J’adore pouvoir porter chaque ensemble par couleur ou en mélangeant les hauts et les bas. It's been so so long since i posted a new outfit. Reason being I have been just so busy with work! So I guess it's really apt I finally managed to finish and upload this set in September during @twigandtale slow sewing month! I've usually gone from pattern to choosing a fabric to completed dress in a day or less but this time round, I went the slow, mindful approach. I really wanted to use fabric i already owned so i took the time to unfold each woven fabric i own, trying to remember what I originally bought it for, thinking abt whether they suit the patterns i want to make then folding them again when my heart says no. It took me over a week to decide on these fabric and even longer to commit to cutting them. I took time to clean my sewing machine, my serger, clear my workspace, adjust the projector settings, change the blades of my rotary cutter. Each step taken during the short moments i find myself free between chores and work i brought home. ♥️ In the end, this outfit was sewn over a time span of more than a month. It's possibly the longest time i ever took on a piece of clothing i made, but I'm glad for it. I've already worn the bottoms out with another top. And perhaps i will wear the top out with a different pair of skirt instead. When I first got back into sewing, I made a pair of culottes that I never loved. It wasn’t the pattern’s fault — it was a combo of bad measurements (I was freshly postpartum and they were changing as I was sewing) and a paperbag waist hack that I loved the idea of more than I loved the execution. They’ve been sitting in a pile, waiting for a new life, until now. I cut them into a different pattern (Fernway Culottes) and embroidered some bumblebees and lavender for embellishment — something that matches my garden right now. The top is a freshly-made Scenic top. This fabric gave me reverse Joy Division vibes and I thought it would make for a good tee. All of the patterns (including the embroidery) are from @twigandtale. I’m part of the #TTStorytellers team and started the shorts in May when the theme was “Renew” — July’s theme is “Work in Progress” so it seemed like a fitting time to finish them. Identity I made this set of clothes for my mother. I am wearing it, and my kids are taking pictures.. I love that.. I've been having so much fun using the @twigandtale Scenic Top as a base for different ideas. For this latest version, I raised the front neckline by 5cm, cut out a little V, and did a bias binding that extends into ties. This outfit is summer. I got this gorgeous @atelier_to_naniiro_textile gauze remnant from @fivearrowspei’s moving sale and knew it had to be a Scenic Top. It took some careful pattern Tetris to fit everything on the piece. I was only left with the smallest scraps. I love the colours and the airy feel. I’ve also been jealous of @dietrichfriesen’s grey linen shorts since I made them. I had enough fabric for a pair for me, so made some Coastal Cuffed Shorts. ’Are you coming with us?’ I asked my uncle yesterday. ’I don’t know,’ he said, ’depends on where you’re going’. ’To my favourite place on earth!’ I answered. This really is one of my favourite spots, and I was so happy to visit again yesterday now that the snow is gone! Olle cycled there, 11km, and he was very proud 🌟 During april, the #ttstorytellers theme was color, and it made me think about my favourite color. I like earthy tones, rust, green, ocre, but apparently I like brown best, judging my wardrobe! I made a set in towelling fabric for Noah and when that was finished I got a bit jealous, so I made a set for myself as well. The fabric is vintage deadstock from @lusefine 🤎 This is the first time I made a shirt in woven fabric and it is very comfortable! It’s the #ttscenictop and if I make another one I will probably make it a bit higher in the front. I added a button on the back to match Noah. The pants are #ttcoastalcuffedshorts and I added 5 cm to the rise but that wasn’t really nessecary, I think I’ll make another one in linen and cut a straight size 14. I’ll share more photos of my outfit soon 💚 Linus is wearing a #ttbarefootromper and it’s one of the first things I have made for him! Time is just flying by and he is growing so fast, suddenly everything was too small. I hope to make him some more things soon! Aprils theme for the @twigandtale storytellers is colour. What’s your favourite colour? While I was packing my bags for our trip I saw a clear pattern - brown is apparently my favourite colour now. Maybe it’s because my brown hair is getting more and more white, so I have to compensate? It's always amazing seeing all the creative takes on T+T patterns from the world over. @carolkite49 modified the Scenic Top for cut-on sleeves, then split up the Monstera Mini Leaf to use as an applique for a tropical-inspired top. This lovely fruity(?) block print turned out so much better as a tee! I'm going with the print scale looking better as a smaller garment. I’m so pleased to share my final Storyteller project for the year: the Child Scenic and Meadow ensemble. For November the Storytellers explored the theme of “Connections”. This project was a full circle moment for me as I began this beautiful journey with a Scenic and Meadow ensemble for myself. It was such a fun project and I learned so much. As soon as I tried on my outfit my little squealed how pretty it was and pleaded that I make her one to match. It was the sweetest and cutest thing. I promised her I would try my best to make it happen. How fitting for my last project to be fulfilling my little’s request. I decided to sew this up in lightweight linen because I love it so! My daughter chose flare sleeves and a knee length skirt. I plan to do some slow sewing and add some lovely embroidery to the top in the near future. This was such a fantastic year being a part of the Storytellers group. What a inspiring group of makers! I have loved every minute! Thank you @twigandtale for having me! My kids are in full blown make-believe mode these days, pretending to be their favourite book or TV show characters. I love that I can sew them costumes that are comfy enough to wear as clothes. My 5-year-old got into the Princess in Black series recently and asked me for a Goat Avenger costume. His little sister immediately requested a Princess in Black costume for herself. I used @twigandtale patterns to make them all. (Note that as a Storyteller I receive patterns in exchange for sharing my honest experience - I’ve made most of these patterns before as part of past projects, but the cape and suspender pants were new to me for this one). For the Goat Avenger, I used the Animal Cape with the giraffe/donkey ears and modified the ossicones to have a pointed end. My kid insisted on burlap for authenticity’s sake. The Harbour Top and Pixie Romper with bar straps completed the look. For the Princess in Black, I used the Traveller Cape and Fernway Culottes. For the top I mashed together the Fable Dress and Scenic Top. I took the Fable bodice and cut the front on the fold (similar to the blog for doing this with the adult version). I added a slit similar to the Scenic or Harbour Top at the back and a flounce and appliqué. I slashed and spread the sleeve to make it puffed. Instead of a full skirt, I used the bottom bit of the Scenic Top to extend it to top length. First project of 2025 complete! A #ttscenictop with the long sleeve add on by @twigandtale I have learned to love a beautiful binding on the inside of my projects! I don’t have a working serger and while I could do a quick zigzag stitch over all my edges I often opt for a pretty binding, making it just a little more personal and pretty.

Another Scenic Top - this time made in a beautiful raw silk I've had in my stash for a while - absolutely love this color 💙. I originally had a different plan for this fabric, so now I have about 60cm leftover. I'm trying to decide what to do with it - maybe a pair of shorts? Feels like it's been a hot minute since I've sewed up some gorgeous challis from @minervadotcom. I had the most difficult time landing on what the heck to sew, so this fabric languished on my dresser and I regularly held it up in front of the mirror to ask what it needed to be. 😂 I finally chose the simplest untiered version of the @truebias Mave Skirt and a capped sleeve Scenic Top from @twigandtale.
