I believe this is the last thing I made in 2022. I want to say late October, esrly November. This is the #ruchedtee by @ellieandmac_patterns . I sewed a 5xl relaxed fit. This fabric was super stretchy and I had to go back in and remove at least 2" from the sleeve with and the side seams. The shoulder seams are still not sitting where I would like and the sleeve length could stand to be reduced quite a bit. I added about 1.5" to the length but it was not needed and the top is a tad too long now. Another quick and easy knit project. There is Youtube tutorial. It is reversible and you can adjust how you wear it based on the occasion. I think it's a perfect top to transition from work to happy hour by just switching it around. You can leave it there or also change shoes and go a bit heavier on the makeup and jewelry. #makenine2022 ...... I used my #mybodymodel planner page with the 9 croquis to set up my make nine for this year. It's in a perfect format to put somewhere visible where it's easy to track it as I go. When Erica from @mybodymodel asked me to be a contributor for make nine 2022 I was still thinking I would have time to get through my 2021 make nines (silly rabbit 😄) and at the time had no plans for the new year. Making plans gives a road map, a sense of direction which is good but this is also my hobby so for me it's perfectly fine to go off road. That being said, last year I kinda just made my list, plopped it on the grid and didn't really have an action plan to get stuff done. I would occasionally look at my list but when I had the opportunity to sew it wasn't on my mind and therefore didn't get done. Hoping to approach it a bit differently this year with somewhat of a monthly / bi-monthly plan to get projects completed. It's ok if plans change but just saying I want to it is not enough to get them done ☺. J’ai beaucoup aimé ce tissu de @glitzerpueppi_tissus_mercerie à sa sortie, mais je n’avais pas prévu un gros métrage ne sachant pas trop quel projet je ferai avec. J’ai finalement opté pour le Ruched Tee de @ellieandmac_patterns. Le patron indique 1m37 de tissu et je n’ai commandé que 80cm 🙈 J’ai largement pu faire ce petit haut très sympa au niveau du dos. Le seul bémol, c’est que je n’ai pas eu assez pour faire le cordon (qui demande beaucoup de tissu en comparaison avec le reste) dans le même tissu alors j’ai utilisé une chute d’un tissu approchant qui rappelle un peu les couleurs des fleurs. Le patron est simple à réaliser pour un résultat très sympa. Possibly my new favourite handmade outfit 😍 My @madeformermaids Presley Pleated skirt in micro mini length with built in shorts And another pattern I've had for ages and never actually made, the @ellieandmac_patterns ruched tee. I made the size S, crop length, fitted version using a suede feel jersey from @abcfabricuk . It was so quick to work up and turned out so cute!
