En dan nu de plannen voor de #makeninechallenge2024. Het doel is hoger te scoren dan afgelopen jaar. Dit jaar heb ik minder behoefte aan uitdagingen, dus meer relaxte projecten erop. 1 Dit pareltje van @uniekestoffen.nl gaan we omtoveren tot een #deeranddoesirocco als dat geen winning team is! 2 Om mezelf bij de les te houden, de #tuliptrousers eigenlijk bedoeld voor afgelopen kerst moet nu echt af! 3 Mijn eerste grote project dit jaar is een #zadablouse van deze #seeyouatsixfabrics die al een half jaar ligt te wachten. Inmiddels al 75% af, dus dit puntje moeten we kunnen halen. 4 mijn dochter woont in dit RTW-rokje, uit het restant van de mooie wol van mijn tulip trousers van @ansje.stoffen.naailessen ga ik deze namaken 5 deze kleurrijke stof stond vorig jaar al op mijn make nine voor een #lotusdress Dit jaar wil ik hem toch echt gaan maken 6 Deze tutorial voor een #hairtowel kwam als geroepen, de hudrofielen die ik nu gebruik vallen langzaam uit elkaar. Mooie nuttige scrapbusting dus! 7 Deze mooie vogelstof zat in een verrassingspakket van @stofbig en ga ik na goedkeuring door mijn nichtje omtoveren in een #sofilantjesregina 8 En de kleine neef is gek op olifanten, dus deze leukerd van @ansje.stoffen.naailessen wordt een #ellieandmacpreppypolo 9 Als laatste wil ik dit jaar onze verkreukelde slingers eens gaan vervangen door een duurzamer alternatief. 🏎 Polo 🏎 Polo's vind ik altijd erg leuk staan, maar ik zie er altijd tegenop om de sluiting en de kraag te maken. Ik vond het tijd om weer eens wat anders te maken, dan de standaart halsboorden. #latergram I told my big kid I'll make him something for carnival this year and he doesn't need to wear his still too big red dragon onesie that for a third year in a row. He was like okay, but unsure and I was like, it will be something you like. He is a Pokemon fan, so of course I made him something Pokemon... After going over which patterns to use, to having projector problems and because I cut something wrong etc. I came up with this. It is a @ellieandmac_patterns preppy polo hacked into a shirt, with welt pockets from @wavesandwild hygge pockets, made smaller of course. Anyways. I spent lots of time on it and the next day he just looked at it and said no, he wants to be a dragon. So this didn't get worn. Guess I should see it as a practice of making a collar, should have switched to using tricot/cotton lyrca but went with the french terry I was using, oh well. Lessons learned etc. I realized that i only sew when something needs to be made. I'm not just sitting at my machines practice different things like i used to. I want to change that. This will remind me that what I think my kid will like and will wear and what they actually want are two different things. Guess it will be going to I don't know yet... . .
