I made some cute animal hoodies 🥰!
I was swooning the whole time I was making them (and cursing because my machine hated that fabric). But I’d do anything if it’s cute 😛🤷🏻♀️
One was for my sister’s dog, @anotherdognamedmaya , because she’s always always very cold. As you can see she will do anything to cuddle or be held 24/7. They loved it and the hoodie fits, I’m very happy. She’s a nervous dog sometimes, so having something to put over her ears to make her feel more secure was something my sister asked me to make for her. I just made her a whole outfit instead of just a hat 😉.
I made a L for her, she fit into the measurements pretty perfectly but I used a stretchier fabric (80% instead of 50% like stated in the pattern) because of her stout build. What is awesome is that the hood actually fits! The pattern is the #emhoodiedog by Ellie and Mac patterns (see # for link).
The other one is for my friend’s cat who is teeny tiny and needs a bit of warmth (and doesn’t mind being clothed). It’s exactly the same model and fabric, but XS instead of the L. As soon as I get pictures I’ll show you!
That was such a great palate cleanser. I don’t want to start anything big because I’ll be pattern testing for @marsha.style the next two weeks. Very excited about that!
