I love how this top turned out, it's perfect for fall and winter weather. It's the @ellieandmac_patterns Forever Flounce Top Sewing Pattern. I used a waffle knit fabric with less than the recommended stretch for this pattern. To compensate, I sized up one and also made the neckband longer since I knew it wouldn't stretch as much as the pattern piece needed it to. Since this fabric wanted to fray a bit (as many sweater knits do), I did a rolled hem on the raw edge. It wasn't too hard, I just needed to remove the stitch finger from my serger and change the tensions a bit. The sleeves are in between short and 3/4 and the length is to save fabric. After cutting the flounce, there was a perfect circle of fabric that the sleeves fit into, I made them as long as the circle allowed! 📝I wrote more details about this make than I normally do. I promised a few more looks with the Premier Pencil Skirt!
