For any good city break, you need a good big #totetogobag from @ellieandmac_patterns for all your sewing purchases. I tried to personalise them with some fun linings and cute keyrings from @ebay. Bag 1: Outer fabric is some denim fabric I had in my stash from @poundfabrics Lining is made from some nautical cotton poplin I purchased years ago from @sewoveritlondon Bag 2: Outer fabric is made from some lightweight waterproof fabric from an #ebayseller Lining is made from some beautiful #ladymcelroyfabric panda print cotton lawn fabric and I also remembered to pop a @little.rosy.cheeks label too

The last of my holiday makes 😊 I wanted to make a beach bag and a lovely subscriber to my YouTube channel suggested a #freesewingpattern 🎉 This is the @ellieandmac_patterns #totetogobag and I love it! It’s a great size and I can pack sooooo much stuff in it (which is good with two kiddies!) You have the option to add zipped pockets, internal pockets, magnetic clasps or ties! I just did an internal pocket to fit my phone in and other bits and bobs 😝 I made this in a gorgeous fabric but I can’t remember where I got it from 🤷‍♀️. I’ve seen it in @fabworksmillshop if anyone is interested though. I used scrap fabric for both the handles and liner which always makes me feel better about myself 🤣. When I made a bag for my sons teacher I gave him several fabric combinations to choose from . He didn’t choose this one but I just had to make one anyway . Three/four bags full 🐑 I’ve been loving making bags recently so here are my most recent ones 1: 🎀 @sewoveritlondon #soibowbag. I made this to match a dress for a wedding recently and it’s perfect for an “occasion”. Fits phone, make up etc. the bow is a really cute detail and it comes together super quickly and is great for scraps… especially to match an outfit! - fabric from @beyond.thepinkdoor 2&3:⭐️ @adamsews #hipsterpouch. For this version I left off the front pocket and straps to make a super cute make up bag! I’m beyond happy with this one and my binding!!! So happy in fact I’m ok to share the insides 😉 Great pattern to up your sewing skillz 🐝 - fabric from @appletreecrafts 4&5:🦩 @ellieandmac_patterns #totetogobag This is a fabulous free pattern that was recommended to me and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Massively roomy but still sturdy and functional. I put on a pocket at the front (well hidden due to some pattern matching) and then a lovely welt pocket inside. It closes with fabric ties or you could do snaps instead. - fabric from @fabric_outlet_newbridgecork 4: 🧱 A huge bag to hold all Lego pieces which folds out to become a mat! Loosely based on the DIY Jewelley organiser from @applegreencottage .
