Another UFO completed. This is the Myra Slipdress & Tank by Grainline Studio that I started 2 years ago. For some reason I struggled with the dart placement and put it away. When I came back to it, I only had the under stitching of the facing to complete. This dress is super comfortable and great for the upcoming hot weather. I will definitely lower the darts next time and raise the sides. I really love the style of this dress but as it is I will need to wear a t-shirt under it or jacket over it to cover my bra that shows on the sides. Fabric is rayon from KC Maker Studio and Fabrics. It's been a minute since I mentioned my Make 9 projects but now that I'm settled in after the move it's time to revisit & finish this Myra dress! I snapped this pic at the old space before I'd set my final strap length or finished the neckline & facings. My kind of boudoir photoshoot! Look at my new cutie foxy PJ set! When I saw the new @grainlinestudio Myra I knew it would be my new go to PJ top. I love sleeping/lounging in a tank, but I hate getting strangled in the straps! But these straps are perfect - they're shorter than the normal straps because of the higher neck, and they attach closer to your neck because of the way the back is cut out. And you can't have a new PJ top without a matching bottom, it's the law! So I made my go to shorts out of the same silly fox print flannel I had in my stash for some reason. We are soaking up the last days of summer with this roundup of warm weather Myras from our pattern tester group! ⁠ ⁠ This was the first pattern tester group that our customer service queen Allyson was in charge of, and it wasn't without it's bumps in the road! I am excited to share the dress I made earlier this summer as a pattern tester. #sponsored #grainlinestudiopartner It’s pattern release day for the new #grainlinemyra by @grainlinestudio I made view C in a size 22, and love the fit. The spaghetti straps and cut of the upper back yolk are a bit revealing for me but still hides my bra and is comfortable to wear. My photos don’t do justice to the interesting cut of the back- so be sure to check out more makers posts as they come out. I plan on wearing this in the upcoming weeks of fall with a jacket or cardigan and pulling it out next summer.
