Been a longtime fan of CQ kaftans and now I finally made my own using the #mnriver pattern by @megannielsenpatterns! Such a wonderful pattern and so easy to customize! ❤ ▫️Made it one size bigger above the waist and 2 sizes bigger below the waist to make it more roomy. ▫️I lengthened the dress to the floor to make a maxi. No slits required for walking. ▫️ I legthened the sleeves and made them wider at the bottom and added 3 inch cuffs. ▫️Can wear it with or without the belt! ⁣I ❤ this dress! ⠀ ⠀ I spent a lot of time trying to find the right pattern for this fabric. I think I definitely found the right one. This is the #riverdress from @megannielsenpatterns. This dress is reversible! I’m wearing the rounded neckline in the front, but the v-neck can also be worn in the front! I think I will end up wearing the v-neck in back most of the time, but I love having options! ⠀ ⠀ The fabric is this gorgeous double cotton gauze in French navy from @fabricgodmother. It is so comfortable!
