Get ready for an unintential mini-series here with this pattern, The Megan Nielsen Protea Top — because I loved it so much, I ended up making three in quick succession!
This top isn’t just beautiful to wear but it’s also a super-quick sew, making it the perfect palate cleanser project, especially when life gets hectic (or when life is just always hectic!).
I’ve admired this pattern since it launched, but only recently felt the pull to make it. I was craving something light and floaty, and the square neckline and dreamy sleeves completely won me over.
The fabric has been in my stash since my very first year of sewing — I loved it so much, I almost couldn’t bear to cut into it. But I’m so glad I did, because it turned out exactly how I imagined. It’s already on high rotation in my wardrobe!
