I ordered this fabric in Sept 2022, a month before my second baby was born. Unfortunately, it took longer to arrive than I expected, so it was quickly forgotten about in the midst of life with a (poorly) newborn, and I didn't get to make the matching outfits I'd envisioned for my two boys. After an extended hiatus, I pulled out my trusty sewing machine 2 weeks ago to sew up a pair of superhero capes for my two boys to wear for Carnival. My eldest (3.5 years) told me, "You're so clever," while he watched me using it. Henry in his Strawberry sweatshirt by @sewoveritlondon and turtle shorts and bib waiting to go out. This is the first one I’ve made and it seems long in the arms but better than too short. I think I cut the body a bit longer but not the sleeves. I like the pattern. It has a very wide neck which I was aware of as didn’t want it to be a struggle to get on.
