I’m so pleased that I learned to sew knits. Here is my second T-shirt so far #soibilberrytshirt in size 10 made out of remnant bought ages ago in @fabricsgalorelondon .It fits very well my body and it has a nice neckline although I will make it more A-line and longer in the future. It’s a good pattern; you just need to remember that seam allowances are 1.5 cm and not 6mm as in other patterns for knits. I had the pattern for ages as i downloaded it when had Sew over it sewing school subscription. I even had it printed on A0 ready to be used. Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and have some lovely plans this week. I just wanted to share my @sewoveritlondon Bilberry Top that I made a while ago. I haven't worn it much as I had an issue with the neckline. Last week I finally had some free time and decided to fix it and now it is perfect! I sewed it down with a 1.5cm seam allowance and it lies much flatter now. I love how easy the top is to make and how you can have fun with the jersey you choose. This Bilberry Top I used a Miffy pattern that I bought from EBay. I have paired it with an Ava Skirt, but also love wearing it with jeans. I wore it on a walk to the park last night and the weather was gorgeous. My talented partner got these lovely shots. You may also see the Sew Over It tote bag I bought the other week! Sew Over It generously gifted me a gift card for sharing my Giselle Dress on thier grid. I also bought the Pussybow Blouse and I'm going through my stash to see if I have any fabric I can run one up with! Have a lovely day. (Ad/Pr 💕) Happy Friday! I hope you have had a lovely week! Today I want to share some pyjamas I made a few months ago as part of the #MinervaBrandAmbassador programme. I did my wardrobe change around in September and I have been enjoying wearing these pyjamas with a wooly jumper as the dark nights are rolling in again. The pyjamas are a mash up of Tilly and the Buttons Juno Pyjama trousers and Sew Over It Bilberry top. I made the trousers shorter and I cut some length off the Bilberry top and scooped out the neckline. The project was very much a trial and error but I love how the top came out. I love the trousers at this length but I should have remember to add a few cms onto the cuffs. It isn't too tight as it is, but the fabric does stretch a lot more than it should so I am concerned it may be misshaped, but so long as they are cosy and comfy I'm happy! The fabric is a gorgeous deep green Art Gallery cotton jersey. I have used Art Gallery jerseys before and find them so soft and comfortable to wear. They are perfect for a pair of pyjamas!
