I was definitely feeling the #pink vibes when I ordered my latest fabric purchases from @1stforfabrics On the left is a Super Soft 'Peachskin' Brushed Single Knit Jersey in Rose. I’ve done my best to capture the true colour, but I would describe it as a gorgeous dusky pink. It drapes so beautifully and stretches lots and lots. It also feels so soft and will be an absolutely gorgeous @sewoveritlondon #soitheadress On the right is a lightweight viscose in Coral Pink! And this is going to be a @tillybuttons #sewingbettine I’ve never made the bettine, and although I think it’s probably designed to be made in a slightly heavier weight cotton, I really want to try it in viscose for a lovely spring/summer feel! I used this gorgeously cosy and soft gingerbread coloured French Terry from @sarahsimplelifeuk which isn’t one of the recommended fabrics but worked fantastically! Tis the season for a new Christmas party dress! This is a @sewoverit #soitheadress in this really sparkly stretch velvet from @dalston.mill.fabrics - the only real change I made to this is binding the neckline, as the turned over neckline in the pattern is very fiddly and not very neat.
