J'ai opté pour le patron Pomegranate de @poppyandjazz , la marque pour enfants de @sewoveritlondon . Mon fils de 7 ans est très très fin : j'ai cousu la taille 2/3 ans en largeur et 6 ans en longueur. Il lui va parfaitement (fierté alors que le pyjama était une surprise et que je ne le lui ai pas essayé avant !).⁣ ⁣ Le patron est superbe, avec de belles finitions, le haut a représenté autant de travail que pour une chemise d'adulte ! The pattern is gorgeous with great instructions - the top is finished as neatly as an adult's shirt. This was quite a bit of work, but so rewarding! ⁣ ⁣ For my slender 7-year-old I cut a size 2-3 years widthwise and the tallest (6 years) lengthwise. Last year I made this set of pyjamas for my gorgeous nephew Cass. They’re a patchwork from old pyjamas of mine: one pair I’d got while pregnant and were now too baggy, and one pair that had got uncomfortably tight around my bum. Cass’ parents (👋🏻 @tanithahoy) are great advocates for reduce, reuse, recycle, so I try not to buy new things if there are alternatives. The pattern is #pomegranatepyjamas by @sewoveritlondon @poppyandjazz. They have some gorgeous kids patterns and buying the pdf means I can hopefully one day make a pair for Reya. When I gave them to Cass I was really worried he wouldn’t like or wear them. Kids have opinions and clothing can be as personal as art! I like to have all my gifts in before December so I can enjoy the Christmas period. The only handmade gifts I’ve made are these matching pjs for my husband and son. Liam is massively into Pokémon despite only being 3. This is because my younger brother loved Pokémon as a child so Liam plays with his old toys when he’s in my mums. Paul loves gaming so this fabric was perfect for both of them! It’s from @rainbowfabrickilburn and is a cotton poplin by Robert Kaufman. It was a total bargain! I used a basic men’s pj pattern for Paul and used the lovely @poppyandjazz pomegranate pjs for Liams. The pomegranate pyjamas are a lovely pattern - the perfect old fashioned kids pjs. I made a size 4-5 for Liam and he has lots of room to grow into them. Name labels sewn into the tops and bottoms to help Mama sort clean laundry into closets 😍 I can’t wait to bundle the boys into their their jammies straight from their baths and cozy up with a bedtime story 💙💙 . 2.
