Hello 😊 I am taking a break from making garments and organising for my studio space. In other words a sewing spring clean.
I try really hard not to throw away fabric scraps to landfill. Even the tiny scraps and thread ends. The problem is fabric clutter. Enter the very popular @closetcorepatterns #closetcorepouf
I dumped all my scraps of the last 5 years on the floor and sorted through to find a combination of bigger pieces that I liked and cut the pattern out and stitched it up.
It was very satisfying to stuff the hollow pouf with all my scraps. It is a win win, a new kid seat/adult foot rest. Plus all my scraps are still there if I need them.
The abstract patterned fabric scraps are from a @papercutpatterns #papercutpatternsluna , not the most fabulous pic of it but it is great to sling over a plain top and jeans for pops of colour.
It was nice to make a straight forward make, no fitting required.
