It is a cotton sateen in the classic #meissenblueonion print. This was a very popular china pattern, in fact was my grandmother’s china pattern! The original owner bought a 1/2 yard sample then bought 16 yards which she never got around to sewing. The 1/2 yard piece still had the Jordan marsh sales receipt attached from December 1968! Happy hump day !! This top is a simple hack. I didn’t plan on entering the hackathon challenge because didn’t think I would have the time. But I had this idea to make an outfit for an upcoming event this Friday. Thanks to @carrosi.sews I decided to enter the challenge. More detail to come soon about the process. Pattern : #s9927 I made the size 18 (too big) more on the adjustments to come soon. The added flounce was self drafted. Pants: #s1165 I made the size 20 . Should’ve made the size 18 or even 16 . More info on the pants to come soon. Fabric: patchwork fabric from @the.sewing.studio . I bought this over a year ago maybe over 2 yrs ago I really like how both pieces came out .
